About
A standard, not a shortcut.
Pure•Bred Fitness is built by Emmett and Alexandria Murphy. This is why.
In Their Words
We don’t want you to simply follow Pure•Bred. We want you to understand it.
— Emmett & Alexandria Murphy
- Look for trends, not moments.
- Data before drama.
- The standard is personal.
Pure•Bred Fitness was built around a conviction about ownership. Too much of the fitness industry is designed around dependence — follow this meal plan, do this workout, take these supplements, hit this number. And when something stops working, come back and wait to be told what to do next.
We wanted to build something different. Coaching matters. Structure matters. Accountability matters. Expertise matters. But the goal should never be to keep someone confused enough that they always need another set of instructions. It is to help people understand their own bodies well enough to become active participants in their own transformation.
The person reading our work does not live in a fitness laboratory. You have work, family, stress, restaurants, birthdays, travel, long days and unexpected days. A strategy that only works when life is perfect is not much of a strategy — which is why we kept returning to the person.
We could have written a diet: a calorie number, a list of approved foods, seven days of meals. That would have been easier, and eventually you would have needed another plan. Instead we taught what sits underneath the plan, so that “what am I allowed to eat?” becomes “how does this fit?”
The name Pure•Bred is not about being genetically gifted or better than anybody else. It is a standard — for how you approach yourself, how you train, eat and learn, and how you respond when things do not go to plan. It does not require perfection. It requires ownership.
What We Hold To
- Ownership over dependence
- Too much of this industry is designed around dependence — follow this plan, take these supplements, hit this number, and when it stops working, come back and wait to be told what to do next. Pure•Bred is built the other way round.
- Understanding over instruction
- We could have written a diet: a calorie number, a list of approved foods, seven days of meals. You would have needed another plan eventually. We teach what sits underneath the plan instead, so “what am I allowed to eat?” becomes “how does this fit?”
- Built for a real life
- You have work, family, stress, restaurants, birthdays, travel, long days and unexpected days. A strategy that only works when life is perfect is not much of a strategy.
- A standard, not a genetic claim
- Pure•Bred is not about being gifted or better than anybody else. It is a standard — for how you train, eat and learn, and how you respond when things do not go to plan. It does not require perfection. It requires ownership.
